Silky start of sweet agave balanced with notes of a dry Marsala wine. Brought to a subtle finish with the essence of baking spice with hints of butter, vanilla, clove, nuts and citrus. Bottled at barrel strength for a sublime experience and limited to 11,649 bottles worldwide. "If there's something we know how to do here at Distilleria La Fortaleza it is making great tequila. We cook all our Weber Blue agaves in brick ovens, mill by our tahona stone wheel and distill in copper pots. Our Blanco Still Strength at 46% ABV is what we use to fill our barrels. This bottle is the result of our tequila being aged seperately in used American oak barrels for six months and used former Sicilian Marsala wine barrels of French Oak blended together.
