Don Maderas PX is the product of a triple aging process. First the rum rests for 5 years at its place of origin, in the Caribbean, then it is moved to Williams & Humberts facilities in Spain, where the rum is subjected to two more phases of aging for a period of 5 years. On arrival, the rum is transferred to American oak casks which have previously held "Dos Cortados" Palo Cortado Sherry and subbsequently to casks which have been used to age "Don Guido" Pedro Jimenez. Both Dos Cortados and Don Guido are of an average age of 20 years, guaranteed and certified by the D.O. Jerez-Xeres-Sherry. This fusion of cultures brings about the perfect harmony, balance and blending of aromas and flavours which make Don Maderas PX a truly unique rum. Dos Maderas PX nace a partir de un proceso triple de envejecimiento. En primer lugar el ron reposa durante 5 años en su lugar de origen, el Caribe, para luego ser trasladado a las instalaciones de Williams & Humbert, en España, donde el ron será sometido a dos fases más de envejecimiento por un periodo de 5 años. A su llegada, el ron es envejecido en botas de roble americano envinadas con Palo Cortado "Dos Cortafos" pasando posteriormente a botas que previamente han contenido Pedro Ximénez "Don Guido." Ambos vinos con una vejez de 20 años avalada y certificada por la D.O. Jerez-Xeres-Sherry. Esta fusion de culturas permite que se logre la armonía, el equilibrio y el maridaje perfecto de aromas y sabores que hacen de Dos Maderas PX un ron unico en el mundo.
