Product Description
Introduced in 1927, GRAND MARNIER Cuvee du Centenaire commemorates the 100th Anniversary of the House of Marnier-Lapostolle. Cuvee du Centenaire is an exceptional blend of refined XO Cognacs from the Grand Crus of Petite and Grande Champagne combined with the essence of wild tropical oranges. The result, a perfect balance of soothness and intense flavors with a complex, lingering finish. The Cuvee de Centenaire was created in 1927 by Louis-Alexandre Marnier-Lapostolle to mark the company's hundredth anniversary. It was first served at a reception held at the Villa de Cedres, the former home of King Leopold II of Belgium, on the Cote d'Azur. Since then, it has starred at many receptions held by Marnier-Lapostolle at the Villa, whose grounds contain the largest private botanical gardems in the world. This Cuvee is now available from top establishments throughout the world. The harmonious blend of exotic bitter oranges and Petite and Grande Champagne Cognacs aged for up to 25 years, gives the Cuvee du Centenaire its remarkable finesse. A second maturation period of at least two years in oak casks brings the blend to perfection, giving it the incomparable balance and roundness that have won the admiration of the finest palates. This elegant, amber-coloured liqueur has an alluring bouquet of great finesse. Perfectly balanced flavours of oranges, wood, dried fruit and gingerbread mingle together forming a harmonious whole. A long-lasting finish brolongs the enjoyment. Tasting Tips: - Best when served neat at the end of a meal. - Can be served in a small liqueur glass with a dessert or in a balloon-shaped glass to fully appreciate its delicate aromas.
