This Grande Champagne cognac has received its final maturation at sea in oak barrels. During its Ocean Maturation voyage "Tour du Monde" it was carried onboard Evergreen Line's CMA CGM Alaska, Ever Laurel and OOCL Asia between 23/02/2017 and 29/06/2017. The routing took the cognac from France to the French port of Le Havre via the Mediterranean Sea, the Suez Canal to Shanghai. From Shanghai the ship continued to the west coast of the USA and passing through the Panama canal through the Mexican gulf, up the east coast of the USA, before crossing the Atlantic back to Europe. This cognac was bottled upon its return to Cognac, France. - O. Kelt, Chairman
