Masahiro Distillery, founded in 1883, is one of the oldest and largest distilleries in Okinawa. The Kujira Ryukyu Whisky is distilled from 100% premium rice and matured in White Oak Virgin Cask for more than 5 years. The subtropical climate in Okinawa provides a warm and humid storage condition that accelerates the maturation process. This environment creates subtle fruity and botanical aromas with intense texture, enhanching the uniqueness of Ryukyu Whisky. Nose: Scent of caramel, vanilla, and hint of licorice Palate: Baked apple, toffee notes balanced with delicate oak tannins. Finish: Smooth, mellow and sweet aftertaste with touch of black pepper.
