Named in honor of our ancestors, who emigrated from England to the Eastern United States in the mid 1600s. Both families were among the first to move inland -- in the 1790s -- during the great Kentucky Migration. Their family forms supplied grain to the early distilleries in the newly-annexed state of Kentucky. There they continued the family legacy and love of horticulture, then passed on through my grandmother -- the loving gardener -- which we carry forward to this day, now distilled here for you.
