Williams, our founder, perfected whiskeys of exceptional smoothness, quality and rich character, this very small batch Tullamore D.E.W. 18 Year Old Single Malt is crafted to perfection in carefully selected wood. It is slowly matured in bourbon oak barrels and then finished for another 6 months in Oloroso sherry, port, madeira and bourbon casks. The precise combination of wood and time results in a dark golden whiskey with a rich maltiness, soft fruity notes and longering sweetness. Tasting Notes Nose: Rich and oaky with deep malty notes, caramelised fruits and woody spice. Taste: Velvety smooth and mellow, vanilla oak notes intertwined with cinnamon, baked apple, toasted marshmallows and a buscuity sweetness. Finish: Rich and warming with a lingering malty sweetness.
